What is HYElists?
|

Purpose of HYElists is to improve communication between non-profit Armenian organizations and the community.
It is a free web service where non-profit Armenian organizations and Armenian artists post information about
their activities.
(No DJ Postings please). Postings are emailed to the local list where the event is held. If you are interested in getting
email from your local organizations please join HYElists.

How come there is no list for my area?

If you are interested in geeting a list going for your area please email ohannes@1001kefnights.com. I only added
cities where I think there are a lot of Armenians. But there might be other cities which I am not aware of.

What is the USA General List?
|
|
USA General List is used to post events that are interest to everybody in USA. For example a getaway
weekend such as the AYF Olympics. You should join the USA General List if there is no local list for your
area.
If you are already on a local list you don't have to join the USA General List, a posting on
this list will also be sent to all the local lists. You should only post on this list if it's
a big event where people would be willing to travel. A church picnic just won't cut it :), but a ski trip
to Colorado is OK!

Why is there so many lists, why not just one big list
|

We want people to get information, but I don't think someone in LA is interested in a lecture in NYC.
By introducing local lists, you get only information on events in you area. You can join as many lists as you want,
if you are interested in activities in other cities.

Why only Non-Profit organizations?
|
|
Because I don't want to sent out junk mail.
